I was born in Seneca, South Carolina, and I grew up in Toccoa, Georgia. I graduated from Stephens County High School, and also graduated from Georgia Southern University with a Bachelor's of Science in Criminal Justice. I have ten years of ballet, tap, jazz, and pointe training. I was also the first cheerleader and Afro-American Cheerleader to be awarded All-American in Stephens County High School history. During my freshman year at Georgia Southern University, I cheered for the GSU Eagles. I was selected as a member of the Southern Explosion Dance Team during the remainder of my tenure at GSU, and I served as a co-captain for our team during my Senior year.

While I was at GSU., I served as Secretary for the Little Sisters of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, GSU Cheerleader, MAP Sponsor (Multi-Afro. American Program), which is like a Big Sister/Big Brother and Tutoring program to incoming Freshmen. I was 1st Runner-Up in the Miss African American Pageant in 1995, and also an instructor for the NCA (National Cheerleading Association).

After graduating from GSU in "96" I was hired by Detention Management Services in Gainesville, GA as a Probation Officer. I became later employed with the State of Georgia's Board of Pardons and Paroles as a Parole Officer in 1997.

In the Spring of "98", while attending 8 weeks of Basic Training for the State Board of Pardons and Paroles, we had PT training (Physical Fitness Training) each morning. Around 30 students from various ages and backgrounds (the majority being males) participated in this training. During the Awards Ceremony, I was awarded the "Most Physically Fit" award. At that point, I began training seriously and prepared to enter my first fitness competition which was held the following year.

I have changed my LIFESTYLE for the better. It is always a pleasure to have my friends, co-workers, or other individuals ask for a advice regarding diet, nutrition, or working out. My desire is to help educate others about living a healthier lifestyle by having Fit Bodies, Fit Minds, and Healthy Careers all at the same time. I believe that I can do this.

Today, I am a very busy Senior Parole Officer. I am a former cheerleader for the Georgia Force Arena Football Team and the Atlanta Falcons  and a Professional Fitness Competitor. I am a Hip-Hop and Striptease aerobics instructor and I have a fitness team called "DIVAS UNITE", which is for ALL Women of Color, veterans and beginner's of the sport.

I am extremely competitive, however, I am a true PERFORMER first. My motto is to always "Strive for Perfection", but self determination and perseverance is the KEY to success! I am very blessed to have the guidance, love, and support from my family, friends, and my husband, Stan.
